Public exam: Lifetime ban for impersonation

Chennai, Feb 29: The Controller of Examination has listed 16 types of punishment for students who indulge in malpractices during the board exams.

The punishments include imposing lifetime ban on students indulged in impersonation.

The State Education Department has said severe action will be taken if it is found that malpractices are done with the invigilators’ help.

The department has also appointed 31 officials to monitor the exam works. The board exams in the State will commence on 2 March.
