Chennai: With the 21-days lockdown due to coronavirus affecting several businesses across the country, sources say that the Central government is considering the possibility of relaxing it in a phased manner from 15 April.
“Central government held discussions with State governments to allow automobile sectors to operate with reduced shift timings. Other companies too might be asked to follow the same pattern. It is said that this will help companies to give salary to the employees,” sources said.
Sources further said that post the lockdown companies might operate with social distancing, separate transport facilities, passes and medical insurance.
