SK’s Hero taken down from OTT platforms

The Madras High Court has issued an interim injunction stopping the telecast of Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero on television and OTT platforms.

The film was mired in controversy when an aspiring director named Bosco Prabhu accused the filmmaker of plagiarism and filed a complaint against the makers.

Recently, the Madras High Court has issued an interim injunction banning the film from being aired on television and OTT platforms.

According to the judgement, Bosco Prabhu is said to have registered his script titled Vetri on 26 April 2017 with the South Indian Writers’ Association.

Since the case is still in sub judice, the film, which was streaming on Amazon Prime, has now been taken down.
