Vijayakanth’s social media challenge to DMDK workers

Chennai: DMDK president Vijayakanth today urged his party members to wear masks, take photographs and post them on social media, to encourage people to do so to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

In a statement, accompanied by a picture of him wearing a mask, the actor-politician urged DMDK members to use masks without fail and also to spread the message among the public.

Recently, Vijayakanth condemned the protests against the burial of the doctors and urged the state government to use a portion of his engineering college for burying the bodies of COVID patients.

Appreciating him, Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan posted: “An amazing and Noble gesture by Thiru @Vijayakant ,DMDK Leader and Superstar for offering a part of his college land for ‘Corona victims’ , where they have been denied burial in their own community burial grounds.”
