TN increases retirement age of its employees from 58 to 59

Chennai: The Tamilnadu government today increased the retirement age of its employees from 58 to 59. This will come into immediate effect.

According to an official release here, Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami has ordered to increase the retirement age of government employees from 58 to 59.

“This is applicable to all government and aided schools, college teachers and public sector employees. This will come into immediate effect,” it added.
