At Anna Nagar, 3,150 have been tested positive for coronavirus so far, according to figures released by Greater Chennai Corporation this morning.
Meanwhile, out of the total of 12,175 people who were tested positive for Covid-19 in the city until June 10, Greater Chennai Corporation had not been able to trace 277 of them.
“Even after a field survey, these patients could not be traced. It could be either because the patients gave the incomplete or wrong address and wrong phone number,” said Corporation Commissioner G Prakash.
As per latest inputs, police have managed to trace 90 out of the 277 persons in just 24 hours. While a hunt is on to find out the remaining persons and special teams have been formed for the purpose.
