Chennai: Tamilnadu School Education department today said that class 12 students who did not write the Chemistry, Maths, Accounts, Geography board exams will be given another chance to take it up.
The department said that students need to give willingness letter to write the exam to their respective school headmaster before 24 June.
It may be noted that the State government recently announced cancellation of class 10 board exams, which were scheduled to start from 15 June. The government also said the pending exams for class 11 too have been cancelled.
“Based on requests from parents, considering the spread of Covid-19 and in a bid to protect the students from the pandemic, the SSLC exams are being cancelled. All students will be declared pass,” Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said.
For Plus Two, he said the date for the pending exam will be announced later. He said marks for class 10 students will be awarded based on their performance in the previous exams and their attendance.
