CBSE class 12 results declared

Chennai: At last, the wait of over 12 lakh students is finally over as CBSE announced the class 12 results today.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has made the results available on its official website —

Like previous years, the board has declared the class 12 results for Arts, Commerce and Science streams on the same day.

CBSE announced that 88.78 percent students have passed the Class 12 exams this year. The pass percentage has increased by 5.38 percent, as compared to last year when 83.4 percent students passed.

Marks obtained by a candidate in the CBSE optional exams will be treated as final for those who had opted to take these exams

Students whose results have been declared can also opt for CBSE optional exams, if they wish so.

CBSE will conduct an optional examination in the subjects whose examinations scheduled to be conducted from 1 July to 15 July 2020 as soon as conditions are conducive as assessed and decided by the Central government.
