Chennai: Tamilnadu Revenue Minister R B Udhayakumar today said that there is no necessity to implement complete lockdown in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons after reviewing a medical camp in the city, he said, “More relaxations will be announced after Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and medical experts. The situation has come under control in Chennai. However, camps are being conducted on a regular basis.”
He added: “Tamilnadu carries out more tests in India. Recovery rate is high in Tamilnadu as people will symptoms are diagnosed and treated at an early stage.”
He also appreciated Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami’s effort to visit every district and review the situation personally.
“Despite the pandemic situation Palaniswami has inaugurated several projects and laid the foundation stone for new ones,” he added.
He further said that there is nothing against farmers in Farm Bills. “We will ensure that the contents of the Bills reach the public and proper awareness is created,” he said.
