Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today said he was glad to see the Q2 numbers on investment which puts Tamilnadu as one of the top investment destinations in India, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Referring to a latest report on investments in July to September quarters stating Tamilnadu, which had topped in attracting fresh investments in the first quarter, received highest investments in the second quarter behind Chhattisgarh, he said this validated the government’s efforts to put the economy back on track.
In a tweet, he said, “our persistent efforts to bring Tamilnadu’s economy on track in the aftermath of the Covid crisis is bearing results.”
“Glad to see Q2 numbers on investment, which puts TN as one of the top investment destinations in India, validate our efforts”, he said.
