New Delhi: An experts committee headed by Dr VK Paul from Niti Aayog has revealed in its report that till date 2,324 healthcare workers have been affected by Covid-19 in Delhi.
The report submitted to Delhi Disaster Management Authority says Of the affected healthcare workers, 23% were doctors, 34% nurses, 15% paramedics, 18% Group-D staff and 10% other employees.
Also, 75 such workers, including 14 doctors, died due to Covid-19. The report, however, did not give separate figures for government and private facilities.
Meanwhile, the Sports Ministry has issued the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) for reopening of swimming pools outside the containment zones across the country in which one of the noticeable points is that not more than 20 swimmers will be allowed to train during one particular session at the Olympic-sized pool.
