Australian, US envoys meet Prince of Arcot on Meelad-un-Nabi

Chennai: The Australian High Commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell, called on the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, at his official historic ancestral residence, Amir Mahal, on Friday, during his visit to Chennai.

The envoy extended his greetings to the Prince, on the occasion of ‘Meelad-un-Nabi’.

He was accompanied by the Consul General of Australia, Susan Grace, Second Secretary, High Commission, New Delhi, Jack Taylor and Second Secretary, Consulate General, Chennai, Andrew Collister.

The Consul General of the United States of America in Southern India, Chennai, Judith Ravin, Begum Sayeeda Abdul Ali and the family members of the Prince were present, during the visit of the visiting dignitary.
