New Delhi: Union Minister Smriti Irani today said she has recovered from Covid-19.
The Women and Child development and Textiles Minister tweeted: “I have tested negative for Covid. Would like to extend my grateful thanks to everyone for their good wishes & prayers.”
Smriti campaigned for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the Bihar Assembly polls and actively participated in the election rally for bypolls in Gujarat, before testing positive.
She had tested positive for Covid-19 on 28 Octlober. Posting the news on her official Twitter account, she urged those who came in contact with her in the fast few days to get themselves tested ‘at the earliest’.
