Chennai: Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in Chennai on Tuesday on a 16-day visit.
According to an AIR report, Naidu will participate in the Jal Pratigya Diwas celebrations at the Raj Bhavan in Chennai on Thursday.
He will be the chief guest at the “virtual awareness and sensitisation campaign on the need to mitigating climate change in schools and at the grass-root levels” on Friday the Raj Bhavan.
On 21 November, he will take part in the 21st Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence-2020 function as the chief guest.
On 24 November, he will leave for Vadodara and return to Chennai the next day.
On 28 November, he will be the chief guest in a function in the Raj Bhavan. On 30 November, the Gurpurab day, he will visit a Gurudwara in the city. On 2 December, he will return to Delhi. Greater Chennai Police have made special security arrangements for the VVIP.
