Mild earthquake hits National Capital Region

New Delhi: A low-intensity quake hit Ghaziabad today morning, according to the National Centre for Sesimology.

The quake occurred at 4.05 am at a depth of 5 kilometres. The magnitude of the quake was 2.7.

From April this year, the Delhi-NCR region has recorded more than 15 low-intensity quakes, it is to be noted.

Ghaziabad is a city in Uttar Pradesh and a part of the National Capital Region of Delhi.
