Chennai: Rasika Fine Arts in West Mambalam, Chennai, has come up with a hybrid (real and virtual) music festival, to mark this year’s Margazhi season.
In a press release here, the sabha said, “The real spirit of being present in real time has been enabled with the best of Covid-19 protocols in place and to connect with audiences across the world, we have created a unique ‘Made In India’ digital platform that hosts a variety of engagements for rasikas”.
This virtual sabha will feature live and virtual celebrity concerts, shows by young musicians, retro concerts, lecture demo, virtual quiz and special documentaries.
The live part of the festival will be inaugurated on 25 December and will conclude on 31 December, and will feature free concerts by Nityashree, Sri Mandolin Rajesh, Shri Abhishek Raghuraman, Sri Ganesh Kumar, Mambalam Sisters and many more.
The festival is scheduled at Jai Gopal Garodia school, West Mambalam and will take place everyday from 4-8:30 pm on all days. The concerts are also virtually available at www.mediapointevent.com
