Chennai: Sri Samaveda Dharmarakshana Samithi of Appayya Dikshita Foundation is organising Maha Sivarathri festival at the Shukla Yajur Veda Pathashala, East Raja Street, Kanchipuram (near Kachabeswarar temple) on 11 March.
In a press release, ADF requested contributions/sponsorship either in full or in part towards Rudra abhishekam, Vastra dhanam , Brahmana sambhavanai, Sandharpanai and pooja materials for the entire eight kala poojai.
Meanwhile, an event to eradicate ‘needless’ blindness was organised at M N Eye Hospital, Adyar, by Appayya Dikshita Foundation recently.
