The crew of Rajinikanth starrer Annaatthe are planning to resume the shoot in second week of March.
The film’s shoot was stalled in December 2020 after eight crew members tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Annaatthe, directed by Siruthai Siva, has been in the making since 2019. They were supposed to wrap up the shoot in April.
However, the production got delayed due to Covid-19 outbreak.
Sources say Rajinikanth has decided to resume Annaatthe shoot from March 15.
The makers have decided to erect a huge set in the outskirts of Chennai as it will be difficult for Rajinikanth to travel to Hyderabad.
Annaatthe stars many popular actors including Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles.
D Imman, who had previously worked with Siruthai Siva in Ajith’s Viswasam, has been roped in to compose music for the project.
