Chennai: DMK today released the list of its candidates to contest in the Puducherry Assembly elections.
The list consists the names of the candidates for 12 constituencies out of the 13 the DMK is contesting and the party said that the candidate for Bargur constituency will be announced later.
The party announced nominees for seats including Urulayanpettai, Mudaliarpettai and Raj Bhavan. DMK will contest 13 seats in Congress alliance. Congress will contest in 15 seats and the remaining two seats will be allotted to minor allies.
In the previous elections, the DMK contested 9 and won 2 seats, while Congress contested 21 and won 15.
