Chennai: Arjuna Murthy, who quit BJP to work with Rajinikanth, launched his own political party Indhiya Makkal Munnetra Katchi recently, after the actor announced quitting politics. He even announced Robot as his symbol.
However today, he announced that he is not contesting elections this time. In a press release, Arjun Murthy said, “I wanted to bring a political change. Unfortunately with little time left for elections, we thought of pulling out of the race.”
He said that he released his own manifesto with salient features and every other party has used his manifesto.
