New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said there is still a shortage of vaccine doses against Covid-19 and the national capital needs three crore doses to inoculate all eligible beneficiaries within three months. He urged the Centre to provide the requisite number of doses.
“We are especially worried about children because they can’t be vaccinated now. I appeal to experts and the Central government to bring vaccines for children as soon as possible. We have 5-6 days of vaccine left in Delhi, vaccination is going on in full swing,” he said.
Kejriwal said the number of Covid-19 vaccination centres will be increased three times in Delhi.
Kejriwal expressed confidence if the Delhi government gets 80-85 lakh doses per month, the vaccination process can be completed within the set target of three month.
