Seeman threatens makers of ‘Family Man’ series

Chennai: Various Tamil groups have expressed their ire on social media after the recent trailer of webseries ‘The Family Man Season 2’ allegedly portrayed that there could be a coalition between ISI and Tamil rebels.

The trailer released yesterday has kicked up controversy. Naam Thamizhar convenor Seeman today issued a statement stating that any attempt to demean the struggles of Tamils will be dealt with strongly.

Thet teaser of the web series reportedly portrays Tamils who waged a war for a cause in a bad light.

He added that the series should bot be aired and if it is broadcast, the makers will have to face consequences.

Priyamani, Devadarshini Chetan, Mime Gopi, and Alagam Perumal are essaying pivotal characters in the series, which has Samantha Akkineni in a key role.
