Nine injured in grenade attack in Pulwama

Srinagar: At least nine people were injured on Sunday in a grenade attack on a security forces’ party deployed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. All of the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, security forces have cordoned off the area. All of the injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital.

A similar attack was carried out by militants in Tral area on 26 May. Officials had later confirmed that militants lobbed a grenade in the direction of a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) party.

On 12 May, militants threw a grenade at a police party in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district. The police party was engaged in checking vehicles at Nad on Samba-Udhampur road at the time of the attack.
