New Delhi: Based on inputs from experts and discussions on giving marks to class 12 students of Central Board of Secondary Education, the expert panel has reportedly decided to use a combination of scores from class 10 and 11, and internal assessment and pre-board result of Class 12.
According to reports, ‘viva voce’ may also play a role in calculating the results of the exams, which have been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Officials have reportedly dismissed the reports of ‘possible grades’ for students of Class 12. CBSE reiterated that the students would be awarded marks, like the students in the batch before them and after them. As to how the marks would be calculated, the panel studied the various recommendations.
Officials have said that the evaluation criterial would be submitted to the Supreme Court by 17 June. The same would also be published in public domain on the official website cbse.gov.in.
