Chennai: DMDK president Vijayakanth today left for the United States to receive medical treatment.
According to sources, the was accompanied by his wife and party leader Premalatha and other members of the family.
“Vijayakanth would stay in the US for a couple of weeks and return home after the treatment process is over,” sources added.
Last, Vijayakanth said he would fly abroad for medical treatment soon and urged his fans to not converge here on his birthday on 25 August, citing the Covid-19 pandemic.
The actor-turned-politician had earlier also travelled to the US for medical treatment.
