Chennai: Starting today, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams which runs the world renowed Lord Sri Venkateswara Swami temple is offering free tickets to devotees from othe States too.
Till now, due to Covid restrictions, only local people were allowed under free darshan. The TTD has laso extended the darshan timings at Tirumala temple which will be up to 11 pm.
Pilgrims will be allowed for darshan till 11-11.30 pm (against 10 pm earlier) after which Ekantha Seva, the closing ceremony will be held before closing the shrine at 12 midnight.
Meanwhile, ending the uncertainty over the conduct of the annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara, the (TTD) has resolved to confine the festivities to the inner precincts of the hill temple this year too and observe them in ‘ekantham’ (private).
