Mumbai: Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab today appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Mumbai for questioning in connection with the bribery and money laundering case against former Home Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Anil Deshmukh.
The ED had on Saturday issued summons for the second time to Parab (56), who also holds the parliamentary affairs portfolio in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, for questioning in the case.
‘I will answer all their questions and fully cooperate with them. So far, it is not clear regarding which case I have been summoned… I have not done anything wrong…,’ said Parab.
Parab is being questioned in the money laundering case being investigated against Deshmukh after certain ‘disclosures’ have been made by other accused and those involved in the case, officials earlier said.
