Stalin visits ailing girl, promises all support

Chennai: Chief Minister M K Stalin has visited a girl who is undergoing treatment at the Government Stanley Hospital in Chennai for kidney and liver ailment.

Accompanied by Health Minister Ma Subramanian and HR&CE Minister PK Sekar Babu, Stalin visited the hospital and offered to extend all support for her treatment.

Stalin visited the hospital a day after he assured necessary medical support to her over the phone. The CM spoke to the ailing teenager after she and her mother Rajanandhini made an emotional appeal through a video message, pleading for the CM’s intervention.

The Chief Minister assured the patient’s mother that the government would provide all the support required for her daughter’s medical treatment. The girl hails from Salem district, an official press release said.
