Himalaya sets up 100 baby feeding rooms at airports across India

Chennai: As part of efforts towards providing traveling mothers a hygienic and comfortable nursing experience, Himalaya said it has y installed its 100th baby feeding roomat Jaipur airport.

The facilities are set up in 17 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Indore, Coimbatore, Mangalore, and many more.

According to the company, as per the World Health Organisation (WHO), globally, only 40 per cent of infants under six months of age are exclusively breastfed. Breastfeeding confers lifelong advantages, paving the way for optimal physical and mental development of babies, it said and added that the initiative promotes breastfeeding, which is vital for the overall health of babies.
