Why DMK & AIADMK chose to share more seats with minor parties

With just a few days left for formal announcement of Lok Sabha polls, the battle lines are almost drawn in Tamilnadu. Surprisingly after seat sharing deal with alliance partners, both DMK and AIADMK are left with very few seats to contest. To put it straight, of the 40, DMK will be contesting in 20, while AIADMK will field candidates in 20 seats if DMDK and TMC comes to their fold. Rajini to support Kamal?

Days after announcing that he will not contest in the polls, actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth on Sunday took to social media to extend best wishes to Kamal Haasan and his political party, Makkal Needhi Maiam, ahead of the general elections.
