CAIT seeks amnesty scheme to protect traders

Industry body CAIT has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking an amnesty scheme to protect more than 10 lakh traders from the “onslaught of sealing” in the national capital. Consumer Affairs Ministry proposes new rules for e-commerce platforms

E-commerce companies cannot influence prices of products being sold on their platform and must adhere to fair trade practices, as per the draft rules proposed by the Consumer Affairs Ministry.
