Chennai varsity signs MoU with IIT Bombay


Shiv Nadar University Chennai signed a Memorandam of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay to open academic avenues for the students, researchers, scholars, and faculty members of both universities to get benefitted from the agreement.A press release said that the MoU is aimed at fostering academic excellence, faculty and student exchange, research collaboration, and quality education. Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice-Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University Chennai, andProfessor Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay signed the MoU. The MoU would remain in force for a period of five years from the date of its signature and will be extended with mutual understanding.Sriman Kumar Bhattacharyya, Vice-Chancellor, Shiv Nadar University Chennai said, “We areexcited to partner with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. This agreement will provide the students with unique opportunities to work with leading researchers in their respective fields and will help to foster collaboration between our institutions. This is another significant addition to the growing education ecosystem at SNUC. The agreement will allow us to share expertise and resources and will help to advance research in key areas of mutual interest.”Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, Indian Institute of TechnologyBombay, stated that as an institute IITB tries to anticipate and meet the needs of learners. IITB ha always focused to provide an education that transforms students through rigorous coursework and by providing an understanding of the needs of society and industry.
