AIADMK to protest against new Criminal Laws

Former Chief Minister Palaniswami announced that the AIADMK advocate wing will hold demonstrations against the new criminal laws introduced by the Centre.
“The new laws, renamed using Sanskrit-influenced Hindi titles, came into effect on July 1. The party’s advocate wing will protest against the Centre’s attempt to impose the Hindi language and will demand a return to English titles. The demonstration will also condemn the DMK regime’s double standards on this issue,” Palaniswami said.
The protest will be led by Advocate Wing Secretary and MLA I. S. Inbadurai, along with other members of the wing, in front of the Madras High Court.
