After the success of Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on two major films — Madharasi directed by A.R. Murugadoss and ParaSakthi helmed by Sudha Kongara. Initially, while shooting for Madharasi, director Murugadoss left midway to work on Salman Khan’s Hindi film Sikandar. During that time, Sivakarthikeyan began shooting for ParaSakthi. However, ParaSakthi is now on hold due to its producer Akash Bhaskar being under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate. With the production paused, Sivakarthikeyan resumed work on Madharasi. The final leg of Madharasi was shot in Sri Lanka and has now been fully completed. Director Murugadoss is set to begin post-production soon. The team is planning to release the film on September 5. @@@@@
