Produced by RC Studios and directed by Raja Mohan, Father is an emotionally rich and visually appealing film that is being made in five languages. Featuring Prakash Raj and Darling Krishna in the lead roles, the film promises to be a moving cinematic experience that celebrates the often-unspoken sacrifices and dignity of a father.Director Raja Mohan, who earlier drew critical attention with Kungumapoovum Konjum Puravum, returns with a deeply rooted commercial narrative that highlights the emotional bond between a father and son. While society frequently celebrates motherhood and maternal sacrifice, Father turns the spotlight on paternal love—its quiet strength, unacknowledged pain, and enduring pride. The film strongly portrays the emotional journey shared between a father and his son, making it relatable across generations.
Key portions of the film have been shot in scenic locations such as Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Coorg, adding visual richness to the narrative. Following the grand success of Kabzaa, producer R. Chandru of RC Studios is mounting this project on a large scale. The music is composed by Nakul Abhyankar, with four songs featured in the film. The recently released theme music has received a positive response from audiences, and the full audio launch is expected soon. The audio rights of the film have been acquired by Anand Audio.
