Chennai: Actress Kaniha, who was part of films like Varalaaru and Five Star, is back in Tamil after almost 13 years. The makers of Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming film, Yaathum Oorae Yaavarum Kelir, have recently announced that they have brought her on board for a pivotal role in the film.
Directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roghanth, former assistant of SP Jananathan, the film also features Megha Akash and Maghizh Thirumeni in important roles.Touted to be a musical thriller, major portions of the film will be shot in and around Kodaikanal. The project will have music by Nivas Prasanna and cinematography by Mahesh Muthuswamy.
