Chennai – Kerala special trains: 6 addl trips to ease travel rush


In response to increased demand, two Chennai-Kerala special trains will continue to operate with their existing schedules, compositions, and stoppages. The extended service periods for these trains are detailed below:
Train No. 06035 Tambaram – Kochuveli Bi-Weekly Special
This train will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays from 04.07.2024 to 20.07.2024, with a total of 6 trips. The stations on the route are Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Melmaruvattur, Villupuram Junction, Vriddhachalam Junction, Tiruchchirapalli, Dindigul Junction, Madurai Junction, Virudunagar Junction, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur, Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Pambakvl Shandy, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi Junction, Sengottai, Tenmalai, Punalur, Auvaneswsarem, Kottarakara, Kundara, Kollam Junction, and Kochuveli.
Train No. 06036 Kochuveli – Tambaram Bi-Weekly Special
This train will operate on Fridays and Sundays from 05.07.2024 to 21.07.2024, with a total of 6 trips. The train passes through the following stations: Kochuveli, Kollam Junction, Kundara, Kottarakara, Auvaneswsarem, Punalur, Tenmalai, Sengottai, Tenkasi Junction, Kadayanallur, Pambakvl Shandy, Sankarankovil, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputtur, Sivakasi, Virudunagar Junction, Madurai Junction, Dindigul Junction, Tiruchchirapalli, Vriddhachalam Junction, Villupuram Junction, Melmaruvattur, Chengalpattu, and Tambaram.
