In a detailed statement released on Monday, Stalin emphasized the comprehensive development efforts his government has undertaken to ensure holistic progress across Tamil Nadu.
Key Welfare Schemes and Benefits
Kalaignar Mahalir Urimai Thogai Thittam (KMUT):
Over 53,300 women in Vikravandi receive a monthly honorarium of Rs 1,000 under the KMUT scheme. Of the 3,49,257 KMUT beneficiaries in Villupuram, 53,375 are from Vikravandi.

Naan Muthalvan Scheme:
39,186 youths in the state benefit from this initiative aimed at empowering and providing opportunities for the younger generation.
Stalin’s statement underscores his government’s commitment to integrated development, asserting that the holistic growth of Tamil Nadu can only be achieved through the balanced development of all districts. He abstained from active campaigning in the by-poll, choosing instead to highlight the tangible benefits delivered to the people of Vikravandi and Villupuram.
The Chief Minister also reminded the voters of the significant benefits that accrued to the Vanniyar community due to the 20% reservation provided to Most Backward Classes (MBCs) during the previous DMK regime.
