Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi ready for Pongal release


The much-anticipated Ajith Kumar-starrer Vidaamuyarchi has entered the final leg of shooting, as announced by the makers on Tuesday. Along with the update, the team released exclusive stills of Ajith and Trisha from the sets, further heightening fans’ excitement.
The teaser, which was unveiled recently, showcased Ajith in a gripping role as a determined individual battling a powerful criminal syndicate helmed by characters played by Arjun Sarja and Regina Cassandra. The action-packed visuals hinted at a thrilling entertainer that promises to keep the audience at the edge of their seats.
Reports indicate that Ajith has already completed dubbing for his portions in the film, adding to speculation that the movie is on track for a grand Pongal release.
Vidaamuyarchi reunites Ajith and Trisha after nearly a decade. This marks their fifth collaboration following Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011), and Yennai Arindhaal (2015). The film also stars Aarav, Nikhil Nair, Dasarathi, and Ganesh in pivotal roles.
Behind the camera, the film boasts an accomplished technical team. Om Prakash ISC handles cinematography, while NB Srikanth serves as the editor. Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is composing the film’s score, promising a pulsating soundtrack. Produced by A. Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, the film’s post-theatrical digital rights have been secured by Netflix.
After wrapping up Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith is gearing up for his next project, Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Reports suggest the actor has already completed shooting his portions for the film, keeping his fans eager for back-to-back releases.
