SKY recovery on track

Mumbai,  Aug 12: India skipper Suryakumar Yadav is progressing well in his rehab and is on course to return for the Asia Cup. He has already started batting and will now begin high-intensity fielding drills and high-speed running.
Sources say Surya may bat at No. 4 to anchor the middle order, ensuring the scoring rate stays high during the middle overs. Known for his leadership and stellar T20 form, he has followed his recovery plan without setbacks.
With team selection about 10 days away and the Asia Cup less than a month off, full-intensity training in the next week will be crucial. The tournament will also serve as key preparation for the 2026 home World Cup.
