Chennai: The State government today announced the cancellation of board exams for fifth and eighth standard.
A government order released today said, ‘A GO regarding the board exams was released 13 September 2019. Feedback was received from several sections on this. After duly considering them, the government has cancelled the board exams. The usual method will be followed henceforth,’ the release added.
It may be noted that the exam schedule for the fifth and eighth standard was released this morning.
