HECS P Ltd in collaboration with Daiki Axis Co (Matsuyama, Japan) launched Johkasou Packaged Sewage Treatment Plants for the mass market in India in the presence of President and CEO CGO, Daiki Axis, Hiroshi Ogame for Commercial Buildings, Residential and Industrial Applications. According to a press release, HECS-Daiki Packaged STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) based on Japanese STP Technology ‘Johkasou’ are technologically superior, cost effective and low maintenance alternate to present STP Technologies prevalent in India.
Addressing the gathering CEO, HECS P Ltd JR Moses, said, ‘This technology was soft launched in the year 2018 and since then these STPs have been installed and operated in over 50 locations across South India and have been tested in various conditions. The performance documented was at par with the best technologies available today whereas the maintenance cost observed was comparatively 80 per cent lower while continuously meeting all statutory standards.’
He added, ‘With this commercial launch to the mass markets we are certain that this technology will revolutionize sewage treatment in India just like Japan. He also added that these STPs are of standardized design for capacities ranging from 1 kld to 50 kld and are mass manufactured whereby the cost of the STPs are kept low while maintaining the highest quality standards.’
