Chennai: Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami today made a slew of announcements under the Rule 110 in the Assembly. He said 3,501 mobile fair price shops will be opened. ”Cooperative banks will be modernised at a cost of Rs 14.75 crore,” he added.
He further said a veterinary college will be set up at Theni district. Palaniswami added that 50 government middle schools will be upgraded as high schools and 50 high schools as higher secondary schools.
He said a fishing harbour will be set up at Kanchipuram at a cost of Rs 17 crore.
