Chennai: Federal Bank has invited applications for scholarships from students of MBBS, Engineering, BSc. Nursing, MBA and Agriculture (BSc) including BSc (Hons) Cooperation and Banking with Agricultural Sciences conducted by Agriculture Universities, under its CSR project.
Instituted in memory of the founder of Federal Bank, K P Hormis, the scholarship aims to financially support students from weaker social economic backgrounds in Gujarat, Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu and children of armed forces personnel who gave up their life for the nation, a press release said.
The Bank has extended the last date for submission of applications to 31 January 2021, as the admission process to these courses are still underway in several states.

Selected students will get financial aid up to Rs one lakh per year during the course period. Eligible students can submit duly filled application forms and required documents at the nearest branch of Federal Bank for verification on or before 31 January 2021.
