As Ayodhya eagerly awaits the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram temple, the sanctum sanctorum is poised to transform into a fragrant haven, thanks to the meticulous efforts of the floral decoration team. Sanjay Dhawalikar, the head of the team, has revealed that a plethora of rich fragrance-bearing flowers, thoughtfully sourced from Chennai, will grace the sacred space, setting the stage for the historic event.
The intricate preparations involve the use of over 3,000 kilograms of flowers, showcasing more than 20 varieties carefully selected for their vibrancy and significance. Among the floral ensemble are chrysanthemums, gerberas, orchids, and exotic varieties such as anthurium and lilium, each contributing to the visual and aromatic splendor of the grand temple structure.
The floral decoration team, under the leadership of Dhawalikar, has spared no effort to ensure that the sanctum sanctorum exudes an ambiance of serenity and beauty during the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. The fragrant blossoms not only add to the visual appeal but also carry a symbolic resonance, infusing the sacred space with the essence of purity and divinity.
The choice to source flowers from Chennai adds a unique touch to the decorations, emphasising the unity in diversity that Ayodhya represents.
