Vancouver, June 24:

Switzerland and Canada will battle for top spot in Group B when they meet at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver on Thursday in a FIFA World Cup 2026 clash that could determine the group’s final standings.

Both teams head into the encounter in impressive form after securing convincing victories in their second group-stage matches.

Canada thrashed Qatar 6-0 to move to the top of the table on goal difference, while Switzerland registered a commanding 4-1 win over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Switzerland are well positioned to qualify for the knockout stages for a fourth consecutive World Cup.
