Chennai, Nov 6:
The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, on Friday extended warm Deepavali greetings to citizens, wishing the Festival of Lights brings happiness, prosperity, and long life while fostering national integration.
Emphasizing that Deepavali symbolises the ultimate triumph of good over evil and righteousness over injustice, the Prince highlighted India’s rich multi-faith social fabric.
He remarked: “We are part of humanity, with its rich diversity of religions, languages, cultures, traditions and experiences, and India represents a microcosm of the contemporary world. The common message of all faiths should promote communal harmony, mutual respect for each other’s religions, tolerance and fraternal solidarity among people of all communities.”
