It was just the other day that the Prime Minister IX Gujral bemoaned the lack of time to complete his agenda. Seven months is indeed a very short stint to achieve anything of consequence; the PM’s chair would hardly have creaked a few times.
It was certainly not a slip of the tongue. DMK chief Karunanidhi was surely aware of what a fox is and what its characteristics are` when he described himself as one. Though he I was only referring to his ability to remain unruffled by the flutter caused by his opponents,

In the curtain raiser to this electoral circus on show, I had mentioned that buffoonery is not the sole preserve of the clowns and even serious players could at times offer comic relief. One such player has now obliged us.
No doubt the hands that murdered Rajiv have been brought to book. But then these hands were no more than mere robots, programmed to kill and in the process even destroy themselves, if necessary.
None of the twenty six convicted belongs to the DMK. The DMK stands exonerated.
