Filmmaker Prabhu Solomon is currently busy shooting for ‘Kumki 2’. A sequel to his blockbuster ‘Kumki’, the movie has newbie Madhiyazhagan in the lead, and an elephant called Unnikrishnan playing the titular role. Search is still on for a leading lady.
Interestingly the movie is now being shot at Shivasamudram Falls near Mysore. It was the place used by the legendary MGR for his 1975 film ‘Idhayakani’.
“A Tamil movie is being shot here after almost 43 years. The script demanded such a scenic location,” Solomon says.
