Chennai: After Vishwaroopam 2 comes Vada Chennai for Andrea. Directed by Vettrimaran, the movie stars Dhanush, AIshwarya Rajesh, Ameer, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji in key roles. Speaking about Vada Chennai, she says, “My character in Vada Chennai is totally different from Taramani and Uthama Villain. I sport a different look. You will be seeing me wearing a normal saree and speaking a different dialect through the film.”
Asked if she is choosy about accepting roles, “I have always said that I donāt choose films I want to be a part of. I have never approached a director till date for opportunities. It is the other way round, my films have chosen me. For instance, I first knew about Vada Chennai in 2011, when I was dubbing for Aadukalam. He was clear that he wanted me to play Chandra. Vetrimaran believed in me that I would pull off Chandraās character.”
